About Us

Wall, McCormick, Baroldi & Dugan started as a partnership, Wall, McCormick & Baroldi, with the principals establishing the firm in 1985. Martin J. Wall and William A. McCormick remain the founding shareholders of the firm, with Ellen T. Dugan as an additional principal. Anthony C. Baroldi retired from the firm in 2020.

Currently, the firm consists of six attorneys, all limiting their involvement to workers’ compensation defense and related subrogation matters. We represent employers, insurance carriers, public entities and uninsured employers. The firm represents clients in all forms of workers’ compensation litigation, including complex coverage issues, Serious & Willful Misconduct claims, discrimination under Labor Code §132a and subrogation.

The firm has maintained an office in Santa Ana, California since 1985 representing clients at all Southern California Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board locations. In addition, the firm represents clients in all of the Southern California civil courts for related subrogation matters.

We specialize in defending workers’ compensation cases from inception to conclusion. We regularly make appearances at Pre-Trial Conferences, Mandatory Settlement Conferences, Expedited Hearings, Arbitrations, Depositions, Lien Trials, Cross-Examinations of rating specialists and physicians, Trials on normal workers’ compensation issues, 132a Discrimination claims, Serious & Willful Misconduct allegations, SIU matters, and subrogation related appearances.

Our attorneys also have extensive experience performing appellate work on behalf of our clients. We file and answer Petitions for Reconsideration, Petitions for Writ of Review, and Petitions for Review with the California Supreme Court.

Wall, McCormick, Baroldi & Dugan maintains an active role in the continuing education needs of its clients relating to workers’ compensation legislation, procedures, and medical issues. We also regularly conduct and appear at seminars related to all aspects of workers’ compensation-related issues.
